My post- secondary education started at Vancouver Film School, where I graduated with a diploma in 3D Animation and Digital Effects. Wanting to learn more theory behind my acquired technical skills, I then proceeded to study for a bachelors degree in Interaction Design at Simon Fraser University.

The Interactive Arts and Technology program increased my appreciation and awareness of good design around me, and the program's team-oriented environment also gave us opportunities to collaborate with our peers to stretch ourselves, and constantly push toward innovative concepts.

After graduation, I came to see that there were vast advancements in web technology that I needed to learn for the sake of my field, so I enrolled in classes at Langara College to pick up languages like actionscript and javascript (and as extensions jQuery and AJAX). Discovering the role of web coding in my fields of interest was an eye-opening experience.
